David Michael Cox, MBA 

As the founder and CEO of Cox 5 Solutions LLC, David Michael Cox (Michael) combines his passion for fitness and outdoor activities with his professional expertise to create a unique approach to business consulting. An accomplished Business Consultant with a proven track record in operational transformation and enhancing organizational effectiveness, Michael holds an MBA from Liberty University and certifications in Lean Six Sigma and Professional Life Coaching. 

A family man who enjoys fitness, longboarding, hiking, and immersing himself in nature, Michael believes that personal well-being and active lifestyles foster resilience and creativity in the workplace. His mission is to instill these values within organizations, promoting a culture that prioritizes health, teamwork, and engagement. 

 

Michael has successfully designed comprehensive HR platforms, streamlined payroll systems, and developed strategic goals for various businesses. His expertise in employee relations and performance management is complemented by his focus on fostering thriving workplace cultures where individuals are empowered to reach their potential. 

 

Previously, Michael served as a Resource Allocation Officer and Operations Manager for the District of Columbia Government, where he improved productivity through Lean Six Sigma methodologies and managed a diverse range of contracts and programs. He also held the position of Chief Operating Officer at a confidential company, overseeing operations and driving efficiency improvements. 

 

His extensive experience includes managing a $144 million budget for the District of Columbia Government, achieving significant cost reductions, and enhancing operational efficiency. Michael's commitment to excellence, combined with his passion for empowering individuals and promoting a healthy work-life balance, makes him a valuable partner in driving organizational success.
